Senior Principal
Ian is a Senior Principal who has led the design of mid- and high-rise buildings ranging from residential and office to innovative mixed-use developments. His design experience includes projects in high seismic zones, such as Performance-Based Seismic Design (PBSD) developments in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. The leader of MKA’s Concrete Technical Specialist Team, Ian has developed PBSD standards for the American Concrete Institute, Building Seismic Safety Council, Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
