Dave is MKA’s President and the Managing Principal of the firm’s Chicago office. A licensed architect and structural engineer, Dave merges art and science to create “first-ever” designs optimizing architecture and structure. He has designed projects throughout the Midwest—from the iconic Aqua Tower to the headquarters for McDonald’s, Mutual of Omaha, and Sherwin-Williams to cutting-edge athletic, aviation, and cultural facilities. In 2021, Dave received the distinguished John F. Parmer Award, which recognizes Illinois engineers for their outstanding and lifelong contributions to the field.
