Mike is a Senior Associate at MKA and a member of the firm’s Residential Specialist Group. Offering nearly 30 years of experience and a practical approach to each design challenge, Mike has provided computer modeling, analysis, and design expertise for projects that include hotels, residential buildings, aviation facilities, convention centers, healthcare centers, office buildings, and retail destinations. He is skilled at ETABS, SAP2000, and PERFORM-3D, and he continually evolves cutting-edge analysis, including performance-based dynamic nonlinear response history, pushover, and construction sequential loading. In addition, as an active and guiding member of three MKA Technical Specialist Teams—Performance-Based Design, Earthquake, and High-Rise—Mike is at the forefront of design innovations and trends.
